Region-of-Interest Sharpness Correction

Abstract

Maximizing a sharpness metric over a region-of-interest (ROI) improves the wavefront correction for anisoplanatic images over that specific region. We discuss factors such as ROI size and scene content that contribute to the effectiveness of this technique.
