Coherence-preserving kW-level Tm fiber amplifiers at 2mm

Abstract

We review the design and performance of an actively phase-locked, multi-stage Tm-doped fiber amplifier chain, and we discuss the impact of Tm’s longer emission wavelength on linear and nonlinear limits for coherent fiber combining. Article not available.
