Transverse Localization of Light in Laser Inscripted Disordered Coupled Waveguide Lattices

Abstract

We report direct observation of the signature of transverse localization of light in laser-inscripted disordered array of evanescently coupled one-dimensional optical waveguides in an Er-doped Bismuthate glass.
