Record-length transmission of photons entangled in orbital angular momentum (OAM)

Abstract

We demonstrate, for the first time, transmission of photons entangled in orbital angular momentum, over km-lengths of a specially designed optical fiber, representing a thousand-fold improvement of transmission-distance over previous reports.
