Integrated Multimodality Intravascular Imaging System

Abstract

We report on the development of an integrated multimodality imaging system that combines optical coherence tomography with ultrasound imaging. We demonstrate the application of the intravascular OCT/US system for in vivo imaging and classification of atherosclerotic plaques.
