Segmented-Pupil Image Interferometry: Correction of Optical Aberrations in Wide-field Fluorescence Microscopy

Abstract

Epifluorescence fluorescence microscopy poses challenges for aberration correction techniques. We present a technique called segmented-pupil image interferometry that corrects local wavefront tilt and optimizes constructive interference between wavefront segments in the image plane.
