Nonlinear Optical Quantum Graphs

Abstract

We analyze the first and second hyperpolarizabilities of quantum graphs comprised of 1D segments interconnected in loops, branches, and stars, and discuss the origin of the unprecedented large optical nonlinearities obtained with these structures.
