Stable Energy Equalization of Solitons in WDM Waveguide Systems with Cubic Loss

Abstract

We theoretically demonstrate stable energy equalization of optical soliton sequences in WDM waveguide systems with cubic loss. Our analysis is based on a Lotka-Volterra model and is confirmed by numerical simulations with the coupled-NLS equations.
