Waveguide-Fed Optical Plasmonic Patch Nano-Antenna

Abstract

We present a waveguide-fed optical plasmonic patch nano-antenna for operation at telecommunication wavelengths. The antenna is designed for impedance matching to a plasmonic hybrid waveguide feed enabling on-chip 3-D optical communications.
