Abstract

Structural, optical and magneto-optical characterization of Cerium-doped YIG (CexY3-xFe5O12), deposited by pulsed laser deposition on silicon nitride films is presented. Growth conditions for garnet crystallization are identified for nonreciprocal photonic functionality.
