Low-noise quantum frequency conversion of single photons from a single quantum dot

Not Accessible

Your library or personal account may give you access

Abstract

Background-free quantum frequency upconversion of single photons emitted from a single semiconductor quantum dot is demonstrated. The single-photon nature of the quantum dot emission at 980 nm is preserved after the frequency conversion process to 600 nm.
