High Power Mid-IR Dy:fluoroindate Fiber Laser with Cascade Lasing

Abstract

Lifetime measurements and numerical modeling suggest that high power lasing at ~4.5 pm is feasible in a Dy doped fluoroindate glass fiber laser, using a cascade lasing scheme.
