Simultaneous Wavelength and Mode Conversion in a Higher-order-mode Fiber

Abstract

We present a novel method for simultaneous wavelength and mode conversion in a higher-order-mode fiber with mode-crossing. A dispersive wave in the LP11mode is experimentally excited by a frequency-shifted soliton in the LP02 mode.
