X-ray generation via laser Compton scattering using electron beam driven by laser-plasma acceleration

Abstract

A well-collimated X-ray beam is produced via laser Compton scattering using a quasi-monoenergetic electron beam driven by laser-plasma acceleration. The beam divergence angle and the number of X-ray photons are approximately 5 mrad and 2×107.
