Recovery of Absorption Spectra from Fourier Transform Infrared Microspectroscopic Measurements of Intact Spheres

Abstract

In infrared microscopy the structure and the chemistry of a sample get commingled, distorting the recorded spectra and rendering them useless for chemical identification. We provide a model to recover the material responses from spheres.
