Toward Spectral Classification of Single Photoreceptors by Psychophysics

Abstract

To learn how signals arising from single photoreceptors combine to yield a percept, we are developing methods to target cones with microstimuli. Our results show that cone spectral class may be identified using threshold psychophysics.
