Observation of abrupt polarization transitions associated with spin-orbit interaction of vector autofocusing Airy beams

Abstract

We experimentally study the abrupt polarization transitions associated with spin-orbit interaction of vector autofocusing Airy beams. The results are theoretically explained from the far field properties of the beams in terms of Hankel transformations.
