Coded Aperture Snapshot Spectral Imager Based on Liquid Crystal Spatial Light Modulator

Abstract

We describe the use of a liquid crystal on silicon modulator to jointly code spatial and spectral features for snapshot spectral imaging. We demonstrate compressive measurement of megapixel multispectral image with 5 nm resolution.
