Attenuation compensating Airy beams generated by using a digital micro-mirror device

Abstract

We present a novel form of the attenuation-compensated propagation-invariant Airy beam. We generate finite-energy versions of these beams using a digital micro-mirror device, with similar properties over a finite distance of propagation.
