Force Spectroscopy in the Bloodstream of Live Embryonic Zebrafish with Optical Tweezers

Abstract

Fluid forces in vivo are difficult to measure and key to understanding the mechano-biology of cardiovascular development. Optical tweezers force spectroscopy has been implemented in live zebrafish embryos during the first stages of blood circulation.
