Beaconless Tomographic Wave-Front Sensing

Abstract

We describe a technique to sense the 3-dimensional structure of wave-front aberrations introduced by a volume effect such as atmospheric turbulence. The method images a scene through a microlens array and requires no cooperative beacons.
