Colonoscopic laser surgery applied to controlled tumoral tissue removal

Abstract

Endoscopic laser surgery provides minimally invasive, non-contact, highly specific tissue resection. Colonoscopic tumoral tissue removal by optical sources is analysed by a predictive approach, as an alternative to conventional surgery, radiotherapy or chemotherapy.
