Evaluation of Volume Holographic Images Obtained Through an Endoscope for in-vivo Medical Applications

Abstract

We present a process of evaluating images from volume holographic imaging (VHI) systems. In particular, a VHI endoscope is evaluated and a set of image processing and analysis techniques suitable for clinical environments is discussed.
