Electron acceleration experiments by using a density-tapered capillary plasma source

Open Access Open Access

Abstract

We have developed a density-tapered capillary plasma source for high energy electron generation by using the laser wakefield acceleration, where the dephasing problem will be suppressed and higher acceleration energies are expected. In this presentation, the research results are introduced.
