Abstract

In this paper, varied-thick nanoisland structures fabricated by a thermal annealing method were used for Raman signal enhancements based on localized plasmon. To confirm the enhancement, we measured Raman spectroscopy of double strands DNAs attached with gold particles. Consequently, we quantified the signal enhancements and calculated the correlation factor between initial thickness of silver films and SERS signals.
