All-optical OFDM Transmission Systems with RZ-DQPSK Signaling

Abstract

A return-to-zero differential quadrature phase shift keying (RZ-DQPSK) modulation technique is proposed for all-optical orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (OFDM) transmission system. The performance of the proposed system is evaluated and compared to that of traditional NRZ-DQPSK scheme.
