High-speed Fluorescence Histology For Near-patient Surgical Pathology

Abstract

We describe high-speed structured illumination microscopy, combined with fast-acting topical fluorescent stains which recapitulate H&E histology, as an accurate and practical alternative to frozen section analysis in surgical pathology for detection of positive tumor margins.
