In-Situ and Real-Time Monitoring of Chemical Reactions Enabled by Ultra-Sensitive and Reproducible SERS

Abstract

The dimerization process of 4NBT to DMAB was driven by localized surface plasmons and monitored in-situ by ultra-sensitive and reproducible SERS in gold nanosphere-plane junctions. Raman spectral lines of possible intermediate products were observed repeatedly.
