Cascaded Photonic Crystal Fibers for Three-stage Third-order Soliton Compression

Abstract

A detailed fiber design was presented for the first time for three-stage third-order soliton compression at the wavelength of 1.06 μm. A compression factor of 173 was realized, and the remained pedestal is only 58.25%.
