Single Photon Quantum Walk in Waveguide Arrays with Next-nearest Neighbor Interaction

Abstract

We show how the next nearest neighbor interaction modifies the photon propagation characteristics in 1-D waveguide arrays and how this enables us to realize a 5 partite W state in an array of 5 equally spaced waveguides.
