Superluminescent Diode Coupled with Etalon for Measuring CH4 and CO2 in Biogas

Abstract

Superluminescent diode based absorption spectroscopy is demonstrated for simultaneous measurement of CH4 and CO2 in biogas. A free space etalon is used to avoid interference from other gases and allow measurement with a low resolution spectrometer.
