Cross Nonlinear Absorption in Silicon Waveguides

Abstract

We investigated cross nonlinear absorption in silicon waveguides using the probe-pump scheme. An analytic solution of the probe is derived including XTPA. We experimentally extracted the effect of each loss on powers using a simple method.
