All SMF Inline Mach-Zehnder Interferometer with Micro Cavity for Curvature Sensing

Abstract

We propose cascaded taper based Mach-Zehnder interferometer with micro cavity as highly sensitive curvature sensor. Experimental results show that by changing the tapering parameters of second taper, curvature sensitivity of the system can be tailored.
