Geometric Phase Shifter using Optical Waveplates for Microwave Photonics

Abstract

We demonstrate an RF geometric phase shifter using optical wave plates and optical polarizer for photonically generated microwave signal. The RF phase generated from orthogonally polarized lights was shifted from 0 to 360 degrees.
