Photothermal imaging for nanoparticle characterization using single element interferometer

Abstract

A photothermal imaging microscope for single metal nanoparticles using single element interferometer has been developed. In this report, different diameters of the gold nanoparticles were discriminated by measuring the phase of photothermal signals.
