Abstract
Fuels with large water content has less quality. It decreases the combustion ability of the fuel. In this research, we analyze the water content of several kinds of fuel by measuring the output power of lights passed through fiber optic with gelatin covered cladding submerged into several kinds of fuel. The result turns out that RON 95 has the most little water content because output power of light passed through the fiber optic is the highest. It means Gelatin only absorb little water content so the refraction index is different far from water refraction index. The gelatin then can reflect the lights well.
