MEMS-Enabled Scalable Silicon Photonic Switches

Not Accessible

Your library or personal account may give you access

Abstract

Large-scale integrated photonic switches (50x50 and 64x64) have been realized by combining silicon photonics with efficient MEMS switching mechanisms. These switches are based on passive crossbar architecture, which is fundamentally more scalable than other switches.
