Silicon carbide doubledisk optomechanics

Abstract

We demonstrate the first silicon carbide doubledisk microresonator with an optical quality of ~ 105 and a mechanical quality of 1150. We study its optomechanical effects including optical spring, mechanical harmonic generation, and quadratical optomechanical coupling.
