pH Sensing Using a Silica Toroid Microcavity

Abstract

We demonstrate pH sensing by using a silica toroid microcavity coated with 20-PAA/PAH multilayers, with a sensitivity of 0.14 pH. We also demonstrated the packaging of a tapered fiber and a microcavity in a liquid channel.
