Moiré Patterns and their Suppression during Digital Recording and Reconstruction of Fresnel Holograms

Abstract

Moiré patterns during digital recording and reconstruction of Fresnel holograms have been analyzed for 1-D and 2-D objects. Elimination of these Moiré patterns can be achieved using pulsed, instead of CW, illumination.
