Towards Wavefront Sensing with Metamaterials

Abstract

Rapid phase variations caused by higher-order aberrations contain information that may not be captured using standard wavefront sensing techniques. We examine the possibilities for ultradense wavefront sensing using nanostructured metamaterials.
