Abstract

Here we use a multi-level approach to investigate complementary aspects of brain plasticity after stroke. We combined wide field microscopy and optogenetics to dissect meso-scale cortical functionality, and investigated synaptic plasticity with multi-photon microscopy. A further study on the effects of robotic rehabilitation after stroke is ensuing within this framework of multiple imaging techniques aimed at dissecting different aspects of brain plasticity in vivo.
