Interference for Quantum Time-Bin States in Satellite Channels

Abstract

The single-photon interference of states that propagate in Space along a 5000km channel is reported. The modulation phase is dependent on the instantaneous satellite velocity, expanding the degree-of-freedom available in Space Quantum Communications and Metrology.
