Reconfigurable photonics metasurfaces

Abstract

The changing balance of forces at the nanoscale offers the opportunity to develop reconfigurable nanomembrane metamaterials in which thermal, electromagnetic Coulomb, Lorentz and Ampère forces can be used to control their optical properties.
