Observation of Intrinsic Spin-Orbit Interaction of Light in Few-Mode Optical Fiber

Abstract

Interaction between spin and intrinsic orbital angular momentum of light in a straight few-mode fiber is observed to generate rotation for both polarization and spatial profiles, in agreement with recent prediction.
