Chromatic dispersion engineering in chalcogenide multi-step index fiber for mid-infrared supercontinuum generation

Abstract

Chalcogenide multi-step index fiber with zero-flattened chromatic dispersion is developed to realize mid-infrared supercontinuum generation. We simulate mid-infrared supercontinuum generation covering 2–19 μm in the designed fiber.
