Mathematical Representation of Spatially Multiplexed Channels Using Azimuthal Index and Modified Laguerre Gaussian Beams

Abstract

This presents a mathematical model relating incident angle of a spatially multiplexed system to the azimuthal index of a modified Laguerre-Gaussian beam equation. Preliminary data shows good correlation between experimental results and the model.
