Full mode reconstruction of optical twin beams via photon-number-resolved measurement

Abstract

We present a method to reconstruct the mode structure of multimode conjugated optical fields using an experimentally measured joint photon-number probability distribution and demonstrate a reconstruction of a bright parametric down-conversion source.
