Characterization of a Coherent-Perfect-Absorption-based DPSK Demodulator for Si Photonics

Abstract

We characterize a novel DPSK demodulator for Si photonics using coherent perfect absorption in ring resonator. The fabricated devices are matched with design parameters by measuring transmission spectra in the C-band of telecommunication wavelength.
