Superfluidicity in an Optical Lattice with a PT Symmetric Defect

Abstract

We consider a nonlinear waveguide array with a PT symmetric defect at the center of a parabolic potential. The oscillations of a coherent state persist without dissipation, if its velocity is below a critical value.
